Seoul through travelers' eyes

It’s a fantastic place to shop, but I wish prices at some tourist spots were a bit more reasonable.

Seoul feels like it never sleeps. Even at 2 a.m., there are cafés open, music playing, and people hanging out. The atmosphere is exciting, but for someone who prefers quiet places, it can be a bit overwhelming after a few days. Still, I loved exploring the mix of culture, fashion, and delicious street food.

There’s something magical about Seoul in autumn. The golden leaves at Gyeongbokgung and the crisp breeze made every photo look like a painting. It’s the best time to visit if you love calm weather and scenic views.

Seoul’s transport system deserves an award. The subway is spotless, fast, and easy to navigate even for foreigners. However, be prepared for lots of walking and stairs! By the end of my trip, I felt both exhausted and healthier than ever.

Seoul surprised me with how artistic it is. From murals in Ihwa Village to installations at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, creativity is everywhere. I loved how the city feels like an open-air gallery. I just wish I had more time to explore the art museums too.

I was amazed at how safe the city felt. I walked alone at midnight near Hongdae, and everything was still bright, lively, and comfortable. That sense of security made my trip even more enjoyable.

It’s amazing how historical places like Gyeongbokgung sit right next to modern buildings.
