玉贤 is a university student majoring in Chinese, a choice she made to better understand her family’s roots. Her family comes from China, and at home she still speaks Chinese, especially the Teochew dialect, with her parents’ generation. This has made her fluent and deeply connected to both cultures.

She moved to Ho Chi Minh City for university and has lived here for four years, discovering the city through food, small streets, and new experiences. She loves traveling, learning about different cultures, and especially exploring anything related to China. When she has free time, she enjoys scrolling through Xiaohongshu to pick up conversational phrases, new trends, and fun cultural insights.

玉贤 also has a playful side, enjoying badminton and never saying no to Korean BBQ, her favorite comfort food. In the future, she hopes to find a job that offers many opportunities to travel to China, continue learning, and stay connected with her heritage in a meaningful way.
