If you're already in Ho Chi Minh City and looking for a day trip, a Mekong River Day Cruise is the perfect option.

This route is designed for tourists who want to experience the natural scenery and rural life in southern Vietnam. The itinerary is well-organized and the duration is moderate, suitable for families, friends or individuals.

During the trip, you will take a traditional wooden boat through the coconut groves and waterways, visit a local family workshop, learn about the coconut sugar making process, enjoy traditional Vietnamese music performances, and taste local specialties such as fruits and snacks.

Our tour departs from Ho Chi Minh City and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Our guide will provide explanations and services throughout the tour. At the end of the tour, we will return you to the city.

Duration: 9 - 10 hours

07:45 – Meetup & Departure: Meet at the designated point in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Due to heavy traffic and limited parking, please go directly to the meeting point.
08:00–09:30 – Travel to My Tho (by car): Enjoy views of rice fields, coconut groves, and water villages along the way. Stop at Mekong Rest Stop (approx. 30 min) — enjoy coffee, shop for local specialties, and relax.
10:00–10:30 – Boat Trip on the Mekong River: Take a boat to explore Tien Giang and visit Si Ling Island and floating fish rafts. Experience local river life and enjoy the peaceful scenery.
10:30–12:00 – Ben Tre & Thoi Son Island Experience

• Listen to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music.
• Taste fresh tropical fruits.
• Visit a coconut candy workshop.
• Row a small sampan through shaded canals.
• Immerse yourself in the charming rural landscape.

12:00–13:00 – Visit Honey Farm & Orchard Walk: Try honey lemon tea, stroll through country paths, and experience the slow life of the Mekong countryside.
13:00–14:00 – Lunch (at your own expense): Enjoy authentic Mekong Delta dishes. Optional free activities include crocodile fishing, cycling, hammock relaxing, and walking on a single-plank bridge.
14:30–15:00 – Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda (Yongchang Temple): Admire the mix of Chinese and Western architecture, beautiful Buddha statues, and peaceful temple grounds. Free entry.
15:00–17:30 – Return to Ho Chi Minh City: Travel back by car. You may choose to get off at Ben Thanh Market or Pham Ngu Lao Street for convenience.

17:30 – End of Tour: Arrive back at the morning pickup point.

Note: Ho Chi Minh City traffic is heavy, and parking is limited — please arrive on foot or by taxi at the meeting point.

• 2 to 8 years old: Child fare is 80% of adult fare
• 9 years and above: Adult fare
• If a family brings two or more children (under 2 years old), the first one is free and the second one is charged the child fare
