Phra Ubosot, Wat Yai Chaimongkol
Visit this ancient Buddhist temple known for its large chedi and tranquil grounds, that is a peaceful place to wander and take photos.
Wat Maha That
This site is famous for the Buddha head entwined in tree roots, one of the most recognizable images of Ayutthaya. The ruins here reflect the grandeur of the old capital.
Wat Chaiwatthanaram
One of Ayutthaya's most photogenic temples, with Khmer-style prangs and riverside views which is an impressive final stop before heading back.
