Chiang Mai
At Grandma’s Home Cooking School in Chiang Mai, you’ll learn to cook authentic Thai dishes in a fun, hands-on setting set on an organic farm. Under the guidance of English-speaking instructors, you visit a local market, stroll through the herb garden and chicken coop, and prepare your own curry paste before cooking classic dishes like pad thai, green or red curry, tom yam or tom kha soup, and mango sticky rice. You can choose between half-day (morning or evening) and full-day classes, all with hotel pick-up and drop-off included for stays within radius.
Itinerary
Half-day morning sessions start around 9:00 AM, begin with market visits, proceed to the farm for cooking lessons, and end around 1:45 PM. Evening sessions run from approximately 4:00 PM to 7:45 PM, with a similar structure—welcome drink, farm tour, cooking, tasting, and return. Full-day sessions run from around 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM, combining all elements.
