This experience allows you to celebrate two of Thailand’s most magical festivals—Yi Peng and Loy Krathong—in Chiang Mai. Witness thousands of glowing sky lanterns (khom loi) rising into the night sky, symbolizing the release of past misfortunes and the welcoming of good fortune. At the same time, beautifully crafted krathongs float serenely on the water as offerings for forgiveness and blessings in the Loy Krathong tradition. It’s a truly enchanting cultural night full of light and symbolism.
