This is one of "China's Four Gardens" and a world cultural heritage site. The Humble Administrator's Garden is known for its water landscape that highlights the ambiance of the Southern Chinese villages built on bodies of water. It is elegant and delicately designed. In the garden, different kinds of ancient architecture were built on water. They are scattered strategically and not one is the same as another. The garden is divided into three parts: the east, the middle, and the west. Each part has its own characteristics, especially the central garden, which basically maintains the simple and natural style of the Ming Dynasty gardens.

• Children over 6 to 18 years old, or with a height of 1.2–1.5 m, are required to purchase a child ticket.
• Full-time students at the undergraduate level or below, with a valid passport or student ID.
• Seniors aged 60 to 69 with valid identification.
• Guests aged 19 to 59 will be required to purchase an adult

• Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue.
• Pets of any kind, alcohol and drugs, flammable materials, weapons and explosives, hazardous chemicals, dangerous tools, and any other items prohibited by the regulations of the departure or destination country are not permitted.
• To visit the Humble Administrator's Garden at night, you need to purchase a separate ticket "Humble Administrator’s Garden Night Tour Ticket".
