OCT Dapeng Tourist Area

Originally constructed in 1394 during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, this historic fortress once served as an important coastal military defense base in southern China. The area reflects Shenzhen’s historical nickname “Pengcheng,” which originates from this region’s strategic fortress heritage.

Dapeng Ancient City

Explore preserved city gates, watchtowers, narrow historic lanes, and traditional residences. The ancient city contains former generals’ mansions and relics connected to coastal defense history during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Jiaochangwei Beach

Enjoy a scenic seaside village with a long, narrow beach and lively coastal atmosphere. Popular activities include beach volleyball, boating, fishing, kayaking, and cycling along the waterfront.

Lunch

Lunch at your own expense. You are free to choose your preferred restaurant or local seafood dining spot during lunchtime.

Yangmeikeng

Visit the picturesque coastal valley famous as the filming location of the movie The Mermaid. The area features scenic cycling paths, ocean viewpoints, and dramatic rocky coastline landscapes.

Judiaosha Beach
