🧡 Meet Your Local Guide

Born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Joe Lui is a Chinese-Vietnamese local who has always felt at home in both cultures. He spent a few years living and studying in China, where his connection to the language and traditions grew even stronger.

Fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin, he later returned to Vietnam and began working as a tour guide for Chinese travelers — a role that lets him share his city through a familiar lens. A big fan of Chinese food, Joe Lui can talk for hours about his favorite dishes, and he even used to sell Moutai wine in Vietnam before guiding tours full-time.

Having lived in Saigon for many years, he knows the city’s rhythms by heart and loves introducing visitors to the local life he’s proud to call his own.
