I didn’t expect New Taipei to be this diverse! One moment I was hiking through the green hills of Wulai, and the next I was eating seafood by the Tamsui River. The city really has a mix of everything such as nature, history, and delicious food.

Hong Kong is vibrant and busy, but sometimes too crowded — especially in Central during rush hour. Still, the skyline at night makes up for it.

Yehliu Geopark blew my mind! The rock formations look unreal, especially the Queen’s Head. Just remember to go early because it gets really hot and packed in the afternoon.

Dim sum here is top-tier, no question. But good luck finding a table on weekends without waiting an hour.

I spent a day in Tamsui and honestly didn’t want to leave. Watching the sunset by the river with street snacks in hand felt like a scene from a romance movie.

What I loved most was how easy it was to explore using the MRT and local buses. But some signboards in smaller areas don’t have English, so Google Translate is your best friend.

I liked the night vibes near Tsim Sha Tsui, though the crowds can feel overwhelming at times.

Honestly, New Taipei feels underrated. It has just as much to offer as Taipei itself but with a calmer, more local charm. I’ll definitely come back to see more.
