While LA offers a lot to visitors, I found the sprawling nature of the city frustrating. You really need a car to get anywhere, and traffic clogged many of my days. Some areas felt unsafe after sunset, and homelessness was hard to ignore. Despite the world-famous attractions, I expected a bit more coherence and ease of travel.

Each neighborhood had its own unique charm and culture, and I was impressed by the art, food, and entertainment options. The only downside was the infamous traffic, which is something you just have to accept here.
