A national hub for science education, the China Science and Technology Museum showcases scientific principles and technological applications through interactive exhibitions and hands-on experiences. A strong focus on participation helps visitors develop scientific thinking, methods, and curiosity in a natural way. As China’s only national science and technology museum, it also leads nationwide science outreach projects, supporting the growth of a modern science museum system across the country.
🕒 Opening Hours:
- Tuesday - Sunday: 9:30 - 17:00
- Last admission: 16:30
- Close on Monday (except on National holidays)

👥 Eligibility:
- Children aged 8 and below or with a height of 1.3 meters or under must be accompanied by an adult. One accompanying adult may supervise up to three children free of charge.
- Adults are defined as guests aged 9 to 18 years.
- Students, including full-time university students and those in lower education levels, are required to present a valid student ID. Programs of continuing education and research students are not included.
ℹ️ Additional Information:
- Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue
- Smoking and drinking is not allowed. You will immediately be asked to leave if caught by a staff member
- Taking videos and photos of the show is strictly prohibited. Any person caught illegally photographing or recording the event will be dealt with by the venue's security
